Is media debating right things?

There are various news coming in that in Ghorakpur,UP(current CM was MP from this place) that 63 children died due to no oxygen supply in the hospital.

While the govt statements say that these children died due to brain fever or something of that sort, there is a news coming in that FIR has been filed against oxygen supplier and if the messages coming in social media are true, that there has been around 40 reminders from the supplier for his pending payment claims and not settled yet by the govt, due to which the supplier denied further supplies is very serious issue.

Even if the govt statement of brain disease is true also, its another serious issue of ill functioning of the public health department of the govt.

And no news channel seems to be interested to take up this debate in their prime time debates. There is a message circulating in social media that times now anchor in debate on vandemataram has asked is it so important to discuss on the UP disaster during the vandemataram debate.

Is it not the moral responsibility of the media to make it a point and show the truth to the people?

Is debating on vandemataram or rift between BJP and AIADMK more important than the 63 kids death?

Seriously the 4th pillar of the democracy gets questioned here due to giving low preference to serious issues like this.

Note.. all the above is based on the news in circulation.
